Villeray is Low Key, a Great Place to Live

But keep it a secret!

At the beginning of this year, my boyfriend and I moved to a 2-bedroom apartment in Villeray. That's right, 2 bedrooms and we're paying LESS than we were for a studio in the Mile End.

I've spent some time getting to know the area, and I'm starting to conclude that it's one of the sweetest neighborhoods to live in in the city.

First of all, it's not over-run by students like the Plateau or Outremont. It feels a lot more peaceful, but still connected to the fun parts of the city. You'll be walking distance to Jean Talon and de Castelnau metro stations, which have all of the necessities around them.

You've got Jean Talon Market, grocery stores, banks, bars, and some of the best tacos in Montreal. Plus you're right by Parc Jarry! It's beautiful in the summer, and in the winter you can go skating on the pond!

So keep it between you and me, but Villeray is seriously where it's at.
