Happy December, Montreal! December is the month to surround yourself with loved ones, and if you’re not careful, it can go by in the blink of an eye! There is nothing but fun family events leading up to the holidays, so take advantage of this awesome time of the year! Grab your families and fill your December with fun holiday activities! 

December 5th, 7:00pm Mount-Royal Christmas Parade and Firework Show: This massive bilingual parade will begin at Parc des Compagnons and head down Mount-Royal Avenue towards Parc la Fontaine. There will be eight choirs and tons of entertainers. The celebrations will be ended with a music-firework show at 7:45 in Parc la Fontaine. 

November 28th to December 20th, 10:00am-6:00pm Marché de Noel des Traditions de Longueuil: This all ages market is something you cannot miss this holiday season. See 50 gorgeous wood cabins with local artisans and designers selling a wide variety of locally made products! You will find wine, jewelry, stained glass, toys, decorations, and pretty much anything you could imagine! There are also countless activities for all ages, all day long.

December 5th to January 3rd, Saturdays and Sundays, 10:00am-5:00pm Santa’s Village: Come with your family and enjoy the petting zoo, playground, mini-train rides, snow tubing, skating, and special themed cabins! Bring your kids to get their pictures with Santa taken and have a day of fun in Santa’s Village!

November 25th to January 10th, 11:00am-5:00pm Santas at Stewart Museum: This fun and adorable Museum installation is the perfect activity for families this holiday season! There are handmade santas everywhere and an animated doll castle to check out as well as a number of hands-on activities for kids. Kids can take part in craft workshops, the scavenger hunt, story telling, and watching Christmas films!
