Do you feel like the summer has passed you by? Like you didn't really do anything at all? Don't worry, you aren't alone. And all hope hasn't been lost yet. On Friday, September 11th, 2015, the MAC Musée d’art Contemporain de Montréal is hosting an event that we can all get really excited about. For one night, they are opening their doors until 2am. This is your chance to do something fun, cultural, social and unique! In other words, to make up for lost summer nights.
During this one of a kind urban experience, you will be welcomed to view the four exhibitions currently taking place, join creative workshops, dance with the encouragement of some incredible DJs, drink a couple cocktails and take in the jaw-dropping atmosphere. If you've never attended the MAC, this is the perfect excuse.
From 5:00pm to 2:00am, three hand-picked DJs, Nils Fluck, Jonah Leslie, and Seychelle, will be dropping artful beats. It’s worth popping by for the music alone. The four exhibits that will be open during the event are:
1-David Altmejd- Flux: It is your last chance to view this exhibit as it closes on September 13th.
2-Jon Rafman: It is you last chance to view this exhibit as it closes on September 13th.
3-L’ŒIL ET L’ESPRIT
4-New Discoveries and Other Obsessions
This event is the perfect way to connect with the rich arts and culture scene in Montreal. Socialize, dance, eat, take it all in, and have an amazing night with interesting people! This event is in collaboration with Speakeasy.
Tickets go on sale the night of the event at 5:00pm. $14 for adults and $10 for students. Museum pass holders will be given priority.
