Free Museum Day is back for 2015!

This year’s annual event will be held on Sunday May 24th, 2015 and 34 Montreal museums will offer free admission from 9a.m. to 6p.m. The STM has helpfully partnered with the museums to offer free shuttle buses so that you can get the most out of your day. You can check out that information via the official Montreal Museum website. Shuttles will run from 9:30 a.m. til 4:30 p.m., transporting people between museum sites with workshops, activities and general merriment.

This 29th edition includes visits to the Redpath Museum, the Biodôme de Montréal, the Fur Trade at Lachine National Historic Site, the Dorval Museum, the Museum of Fine Arts and much more.

There is even a Family Fun Spot at Places des Arts’ Quartiers des Spectacles, with a “thematic” photobooth, face painting, and a 10:30 a.m. workshop led by artists from the public mural group, MU. So go, whatever your age, and enjoy one of the amazing cultural events Montreal has to offer!
